Backing Up Linux system to Backblaze B2 with rclone

Set up

wget https://downloads.rclone.org/rclone-current-linux-amd64.zip

unzip rclone-current-linux-amd64.zip

copy to /usr/local/bin/

This will back up my home dir

sudo rclone sync -P -L /home/ Backblaze:Twisted/home/

Can't follow symlink without -L/--copy-links


sudo rsync -av /var/www/html/ /var/www/html-backup/

sudo rclone sync -P -L /var/www/html-backup/ Backblaze:Twisted/var/www/html/

PI side back up 

cat backup.sh /bin/tar -czvf - -T backup.text | /usr/bin/ssh pi@192.168.10.3 "/bin/cat > ./Backups/$HOSTNAME.backup.$(/bin/date +"%FT%H%M").tar"

cat backup.text 
/var/spool/cron/ 
/home/pi/ 
/root/

Add this to you root cron tab 
05 10 * * 7 /root/backup.sh
